I haven't written in here for 3 and a half years, roughly.
Tonight, I read some of Giles' livejournal and it made me want to write in mine again. Then I read mine, and realised that most of what I wrote in the past was boring as fuck. Even to myself, and theoretically, I find myself interesting.
I hope this turns out better than it did last time. |

So... bomb threat at Metrotown today. Nice end to our rainy afternoon.
Got some superb deals at Value Village (Marc and Sydney will die a thousnd deaths when they see their presents and of course the watermelon shoes we got)
Then me Kels and Jade headed down to the new school Byrne Creek, and found a hole in the fence and took a look around. It was... I dunno. I think it might have seemed nicer on a sunny day. Today was so ugly, it felt like winter at the bus stop this morning.
so, then we headed down to Metrotown to get some more sweeet deals at Zellers. And we did, believe me. But then... the bomb scare thing. It was so creepy... the skytrian path was all blocked off, and the bus loop was totally deserted and the skytrain station was packed with panicky people and cops. I was not so into getting on the skytrain cause it seemed creepily like the whole London deal, but turns out the alleged "bomb" was in a telus store, god knows why.
so, it was an interesting day to say the least. Kelsey bought a Bjork tape!
in bad news... I can't go on the Vancouver Trip. Ahhh well Marc and Sydney are missing it too, and it probably wont compare to the last one ;) nah, I hope they have fun. Maybe I'll try and meet up with them after work, possibly get dinner on Commercial again? We shall see. for now... im out.

UGh. I was sleeping at 10:30 this morning, when work called and wanted me there ASAP. Oh well, its kinda good to get lots of hours before school starts. theres lots of good concerts coming up, and I still haven't paid off my Oasis ticket.
so. Richard came to Zellers today BUT SOMEHOW I MISSED HIM. I was only there for 6 and a half hours. My job is great, really. I had no food today, so, there ya go, I stop down at the frozen foods and get some Michelina's fettuccinni alfredo. I dont know what significance that has to anything, but goddamn that pasta was good.

blah. I feel boring. I've been doing so much busy wholesome stuff lately. Works ok. I havent gotten a pay check yet... but Im excited for when that happens (soon!)
soccer started today. ugggh. oh well. at least I'll lose the 9384728735 pounds I put on this summer. The most excercise I got was walking to the library and or Kelsey Litkes house.
Im in a bad mood at home lately. well, today anyway. I dont know why. I've just been really bratty all day. Oh well. tomorrow'll be better.
Had a really random night on Sunday... chilled w/ Jade Kels and Syd, we went skateboarding/scootering and picked up Reuben and Kev Calbick. Good times. Then we went back to Kels's house (with kevin, but sadly not reuben) and played add-on on the trampoline. It was fairly priceless. Then later, Kels and I watched 15/Love. Good show, fo sho.

Well, annoyingly enough, it seems I've gotten a life. Since when do I have committments in the summer, things to do? Since now apparently.
Actually, the past couple days have felt more like summer... sleep til noon, house to myself, go hang out.
but WORK... oh work. So much of it. I can't complain though, Im the one who said I needed money, and I still can't deny the necissity of it.
Quick recap of the week: I worked Monday and Wednesday, I can't remember what I did on Tuesday aside from the Summer Jam volunteer/end of year dinner at red robin... (ohh yeah, I think I walked to the library that day), then on Wed. after work I went shopping with Kelsey Marc and Sydney, which was a good time. Kels and Marc came over later, we watched Get a Clue. I also bought the most recent Shins cd :)
Onn.. Thursday, I went shopping with Jade and Kels. We went to some thrift stores on Main (I bought a dress!) and got gelato on Commercial. We also went to Jade's Marimba class for a bit, and got Vancouver library cards. haha yeah. Thennn... that night, I saw Kevin for a short while, said byeee. umm then I went to Kelseys, with Marc, and we made a cake.
today was fairly good, walked to the library again, then met up with Jaime and Marc for a bit in the afternoon.
Im fairly tired, and have to work freakin early tomorrow and then go to my aunt's wedding.

This has been a fairly good week, shuswap was awesome, I tanned lots.
Good News!! For my birthday present, my aunt and I are going to see Bruce Springsteen! Im soooo excited! I get to see him, Oasis, and Robert Plant in the next month or so. Man. I can't wait. Less than a week til Springsteen!
aaand... Im also a driver! I took the test umm... about half and hour ago.
On the downside, Im worried that Imma be fired from my first job before I even start, cause I went on vacation last week. Ahhhh well. haha, we'll see what happens.

hmm its been a long week, I think. The weekend was fairly good... Saturday was boring but productive, and on Sunday Kevin came over and I had my first dog walking experience. We took Gill's soccer coach's mom's dog out for a couple hours... it looked somewhat huge and beastly but turned out to be a very nice dog.
Monday I started at Edmonds day camp (Summer Fun Club, sorry..)and part way through the day I had a job interview at Zellers. Hey, am I really in any position to be turning down job offers?? Anyway, it went fairly well and the woman said I'd probably get the job, and probably in the "home electronics" department, which would be good with me :)
The rest of the rest of the week is a bit of a day-camp blur. It was a huge change from summer jam... that was pretty relaxed, fun, and the kids were really good. At Edmonds, it was a bit bigger and somehow more businesslike, which wasnt a bad thing, but y'know... I still had more fun at summer jam. And also, there were a LOT of behaviour problems. At summer jam, there were one or two kids that were troublemakers, at Edmonds there were only a few that weren't. But I liked it a lot, actually, I got much better at dealing with the little beasts.
On... I guess it was Wednesday... I went to Kits beach in the evening with Jade, we met Sydney, Reuben, Zlatko, Joon, and David there. Theeen we got to see Kyle Shane and Kelsey G perform with SPYO which was awesome. The highlight of the night mayy have been when we arrived at Burrard bus stop on the way home.. it was tennish and dark out, and we got off the bus and Joon got approached by this woman... anyway, your probably had to be there, but Reuben wwent sprinting off, and long story short, it was pretty funny.

wow, i havent updated in a while... ah well. No time to be on the computer, I like being out and doing stuff.
This week went by super fast, I was volunteering at summer jam aaand... yeah. It was actually a lot of fun. The kids were kinda crazy, but mostly really cute and I'd definitely do it again. Actually, I am doing it again... next week. But at a different day camp this time. A bigger one, and there wont be as many people that I know.
hmm... so I didnt do much during the week, except come home and nap after day camp every day. Kids have sooooo much energy. I did get in some night swimming with Jade and others, chillin with Kelsey (we watched What a Girl Wants!) and then last night I had to go to this work party type thing with my parents, and then I went to Kevin's and we watched I <3 Huckabees, which I think I might have to watch again. Sooo its been a fairly good week, by any standards.

haha today was pretty good/random.
me and Syd and Preston went to the grade 7 grad at Clinton... I didn't know most of the kids, but thats ok, cause Sydney's brothers are hardcore. However, we were pretty appalled that they didn't ask us to present the "Outstanding Grade 7 Student" award, us being previous winners, hahaha.
We went and met all the suckers writing their math provincial at the school after that... then me and Richard and Kelsey went off with the intent to go use Richard's 50 cents off Dairy Queen coupons. Naturally, we couldnt just go to the mall (cause the mall sucks) although we did detour through a Richard dragged us to the Pet store to check out dogs.
Anyways, I was convinced that there was a DQ along Kingsway across from Soccer Cents. Ok, so we walk a few more blocks. No DQ. So I figured it was a little farther... ummm no such luck. We were well past Central Park and pretty much half way to Science World by now, and realllly tired from walking like 1073485723 km in the sun, so we went to Safeway and bought a baguette (YUM!), butter, juice, and ice cream pie/cake thing. Then we walked back to Central Park and had a nice picnic.
For the first time, it felt sooo much like summer. Not having anyone worried about me, just doing something random in the REALLY HOT weather! I actually put on sunscreen twice today... it was very exciting. I LOVE SUMMER!!!!!!!!!

Ugggh i wish i could be doing something other non schooly tonight. It's the last day of school, but I got exams tomorrow and Thursday so it doesn't really feel like it.
Today was a good last day of school. Lots of random good stuff happened, and it was a pretty good/funny time in general. I was home for first block, lunch was interesting... thank kevin for that one... And the afternoon was pretty crazy. Richard apparently has a body suit fetish, and ran around in sydney's crazy fleecy blue suit with the really low crotch. Umm. The pictures really tell all, as words cannot begin to describe.

haha actually the worst part is how totally involved I am in all the shit. Oh well. I can deal with it.
Good-ish weekend... our Dragon Boat team is super +934857 and came in 4th, 2nd and 2nd in our 3 races at the Regatta. It rained sooo hard but it was a good time anyway.
And I liked Star Wars III. Yoda rooolz.
Some people are reallllly big trekkies, honestly. I found a book and tape set at the library on how to speak Klingon. roS means lick, and thats the extent of my Klingon knowledge.
